[Anime Review] GJ-Bu (2013)

Anime Title  : GJ-Bu
Directed by : Yoshiyuki Fujiwara
Written by  : Hideaki Koyasu
Studio       : Dogakobo
My Rating    : 4 of 5

GJ-bu (Good Job Club) is a Japanese anime series based on a light novel series with a same name. There are 12 episodes which mainly tells about a high school club with 5 members (later will be 6) – 4 or 5 girls, and a boy. It is an unidentified club that dwells in a room of the former building of a certain school. The series follows the everyday, though unusual, antics of this band of friends.
There’s not much to tell about this anime with random plot in each episodes, but it is quite entertaining. I quite like the characters, especially the president and the boy. They all have unique characters, and their silly acts are hilarious. It taught a little bit about family and friendship, but it is not the best anime that can be my favorite, unfortunately.

BLURB

Menulis itu susah? Banget.

Truth to be told, menulis itu gampang-gampang susah.

  • Lalu, prosedur penerbitannya bagaimana?

Bagi kalian yang ingin tahu jawaban atas pertanyaan-pertanyaan di atas, well, this book might be the one for you.

Dan, mari bersama-sama menikmati proses menyenangkan menulis naskah fiksi pertamamu.

MY SUMMARY

MY COMMENTARY

Kak Winna itu penulis favoritku. Membaca itu hobiku. Dan menulis itu passionku. Jadi, bagaimana mungkin aku nggak langsung nyerbu toko buku begitu tau penulis favoritku nulis buku tentang menulis? Sort of).

Truth to be told, menulis itu gampang-gampang susah.

Thanks a lot, kak Winna. I love you! Keep writing!

MY SUMMARY

MY COMMENTARY

Oke, don't get me wrong.

So, I have to thank all my friends who recommended this novel to me. Intinya, novel ini recommended! Kalau kamu juga salah satu anti Korea kayak aku, jangan membiarkan alasan itu buat nyuekin novel ini, cause reading it is worth it! Nggak bakal nyesel, deh. I swear! Good job, kak. Keep writing!

MY SUMMARY

Gilang emang sengaja nggak kasih tau Ning tentang kedatangannya, buat jadi kejutan, katanya. Eh, malah dia sendiri yang terkejut. Hihihi.

Awalnya, Gilang cuek aja - berusaha cuek, tepatnya. Dia tetap menyatakan perasaannya pada Ning. Tapi, waktu Ning menerima cintanya, dia malah melepas gadis itu, karena dia tau Ning cintanya sama Finn, bukan dirinya. Dia nggak mau maksa Ning.

MY COMMENTARY

Open ending. Katanya sih, bakal ada lanjutan. Yay! Aku bener-bener jatuh cinta sama covernya – warna merah terang dengan tulisan “London” yang terkesan royal. Kece abis! Intinya, novel ini worth to read. Recommended! Good job, kak! Keep writing ;D

[Anime Review] Angel Beats (2010)

Anime Title   : Angel Beats
Directed by  : Seiji Kishi
Produced by : Kenji Horikawa, Hiro Maruyama, Hironori Toba
Written by   : Jun Maeda
Studio        : P.A. Works
My Rating     : 5 of 5

Angel Beats! is a 13-episode Japanese anime television series which takes place at a high school acting as a limbo for those who have died, where students learn to give up any lingering attachments they still have from life before passing on. The story follows a group called Afterlife Battlefront which fights against God and resists to give up. Their only enemy is the ‘Angel’, a girl who has supernatural powers and fights against them. So mainly, the story is about their rebellion, and also the end of it.
It is a fantastic idea with a brilliant plot! It taught me many lessons about the meaning of life. No matter how bad your past is, you just need to accept it and be grateful. How creative to make a new world like that, and all the characters are so alive and unique, with outstanding personalities and backgrounds. I love all of them! It’s a quite sad story, as well. Really touching! About friendship, love, family… It’s all there. It can be romantic and funny, too. All in one. There are 13 episodes, also followed by another episode for ‘another epilogue’, and a special episode, which is really hilarious! Such a twist. It’s sad in the end, but the special episode is tummy-hurting. So funny! I love this series! Team Otonachibana and Yuhinata (I made them myself)! And I really love the opening song!

[Anime Review] Amnesia (2013)

Anime Title  : Amnesia
Directed by : Yoshimitsu Ohashi
Written by  : Touko Machida
Studio       : Brain's Base
My Rating    : 4 of 5

Amnesia is a Japanese anime series based on a visual novel series with a same name. It has 12 episodes, which tell about this one heroine, who loses her memories and keeps traveling from one world to another – parallel worlds. In each world, she has different condition in life – different boyfriend, and some people around her also act differently each time she meets them in other world. In the end, she finally knows what is happening, and gains her memories back, then goes back to her original world.
Sorry for the short summary. I don’t know exactly how to describe it. It’s a brilliant story. A little bit confusing at first, but that was the fun part. I kept frowning, trying hard to figure out what is really happening. It might not be the best anime I’ve ever watched, but I quite enjoyed it. I like the characters! The main ones have such strong personalities and stay with it. It is not easy to create such characters. It’s kind of sweet, too.

Produced by : Yasushi Akimoto
Written by   : Shōji Kawamori andMari Okada
Studio        : Satelight
My Rating     : 4.5 of 5

AKB0048 is a Japanese science fiction anime series based on the popular AKB48 idol group from Japan. There are 26 episodes in total – 13 for AKB0048, and another 13 for AKB0048 Next Stage. It sets at the start of the 21st century, when an interplanetary war broke out. Earth's ecosystem was severely damaged, and humanity was forced to flee the planet. In several planets of this new society, things that "disturb the heart" like music and art are forbidden. 48 years later, the legendary idol group AKB48 is resurrected as the interplanetary troupe AKB0048, made up of girls who carry on the title and spirit of the original members. Held as heroines by some and labeled as terrorists by others, they must take up arms to bring their music to their fans wherever they are. The story follows a group of young hopefuls as they train to become the next generation of AKB0048.
We can call this a fan fiction, and it is a very brilliant one indeed! Firstly, they make it science fiction and very sophisticated. The plot is genius, and very creative! They make up many different, unique things. It taught me lessons, as well – about friendship,, team work, and fighting for what or whom you love. I love the songs. I love all the characters. They have many characters, but each of them is very unique and alive, with different, outstanding personality. They are all lovable! There’s a bit romance here, and I adore it! It's also touching, and yes, it made me cry. Lol.

[Anime Review] Kokoro Connect (2012)

Anime Title      : Kokoro Connect
Directed by     : Shinya Kawatsura
Produced by    : Silver Link
Based on        : Light Novel Series by Sadanatsu Anda
Distributed by : Crunchyroll
My Rating       : 5 of 5

Kokoro Connect is a 17-episodes Japanese anime series based on light novel series with a same name. The story involves five high school students — Yaegashi Taichi, Nagase Iori, Inaba Himeko, Aoki Yoshifumi, and Kiriyama Yui — who are all members of the Student Cultural Research Club in their school. One day, they begin experiencing a phenomenon in which they randomly swap bodies amongst themselves. As these five friends face many different strange phenomena, their friendship is put to the ultimate test.
It’s so awesome! So creative with all the phenomena which happen to the five. We can say it’s a bit supernatural, but that’s what makes it cool. It’s also funny and romantic, also sad and touching. It taught me many lessons – about true friendship, identity, your true self, trust, and many more! It’s good for teens who are confused in finding the ‘real’ them. The characters are so lovable, with interesting personalities and backgrounds. So unique and alive!

BLURB

THE AUTHOR

Karya-karyanya: "Summer in Seoul" (2006), "Autumn in Paris" (2007), "Winter in Tokyo" (2008), "Spring in London" (2010), "Sunshine Become You" (2012), "Seasons to Remember" (2013), dan "Autumn Once More" (2013).

MY SUMMARY

Jatuh cinta.

MY COMMENTARY

Well done, kak. Keep writing!

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Private Eye in the Distant Sea (2013)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea

Based on        : Manga by Gosho Aoyama

My Rating       : 5 of 5

Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the seventeenth movie which sets on an Aegis vessel where a Japanese Self-Defense Force member is found dead and a secret spy has infiltrated the vessel. After tumbling apart upon the case, Conan manages to figure out who the culprit is, also stops him from continuing his plans.

This is the last movie! How sad… The next one is an upcoming one this year, probably next month. Can’t wait! This one is as engaging as the previous ones, especially remembering this one is the last I’ve got for now. I could guess the culprit from the beginning, but that was all. The rest was up to Conan and his deduction, as usual. The ending is seriously building great suspense. I was really terrified. If I didn’t know there would be the next one, I might have predicted negative, sad ending. But as we all know, it always has happy ending, and I always end up being very satisfied.  Boy, I will miss Conan so bad after this. I might consider watching the series… I will watch them all, for sure, but am still not sure when.

Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the twelfth movie which tells about several murders and attacks on first class student of a musical academy. They are all busy preparing for a concert, so the investigation can’t go so smoothly. On the day of the concert, Conan and the lead singer get separated from other participants and audience, while there are bombings outside the concert hall, exploding each of the foundation pillars, but since the hall is soundproof and fireproof, none of the audience notices it. Conan and the police, also the lead singer, find their way in, and after Conan figures out who the culprit is, they are finally able to stop the major explosion and capture the culprit.
It’s about music! One of the songs is Amazing Grace – I love it! Boy, I really love violinist now. Lol. The funny part is, the fact that the perfect Shinichi is tone-deaf. But he is perfect, all right! I’m not defending him because I’m in love with him (lol). You’ll know it soon after you watched this movie. This one is the only one I watched twice, and the first one I watched as well. That time, this one was the only one I’ve got, so I watched this one first. Some moments later, I started to watch the rest. I re-watched this one, because I kind of forgot half of the story, and also because I was craving for more Conan, since I have watched all seventeen of them. Even though I have known the culprit when I watched for the second time, I still found this movie interesting, engaging, and enjoyable, as other movies are. Yaiks, they are all sugoi!!!

People say, the culprit is never the first one you suspect. Well, after watching this one, think again. Well, it isn’t the first one I suspected, though, but yeah, you’ll know what I mean after you watched it. The movie is always full of mind-tricks. It always manages to build such a suspense. I have a weak heart, you know, so I barely stand the heat, but I enjoyed it! And I’m falling in love with soccer player(s) now. Lol. Ah, my eleventh striker <3

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Quarter of Silence (2011)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan the Movie: Quarter of Silence
Directed by     : Yasuichiro Yamamoto and Kobun Shizuno
Produced by    : Michihiko Suwa
Written by      : Kazunari Kochi
Distributed by : Toho
My Rating       : 5 of 5

Detective Conan: Quarter of Silence is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the fifteenth movie which tells about an explosion during the opening ceremony of a new train line for the Tokyo Metro. Conan manages to prevent too many damages. Then, Conan and friends travel to Kitanosawa. Not long after that, one of the visitors there was murdered. Conan investigates more, and finds out that there is a connection between several cases which have happened – a car accident which murdered a girl, a boy who fell down a cliff and lost consciousness for the past eight years, a robbery in Tokyo, the train line explosion, and an old village which was sunk for the building of a dam. He then figures out the real plan of the culprit – exploding the dam. He tries to stop him, but it happens anyway, so all Conan can do is stopping the flood caused by the dam explosion. In the end, he saves the day one more time.
As usual, it’s a happy ending, like most of mystery movies. There is a mystery, but it’s there to be solved, so it always leads to a happy ending. But there is always a moment when the lead character is cornered, building suspense to the audience. This movie has it, too, and I’m always terrified of what might happen. Thank God it always ends happily. Even so, the ending is never predictable. There were things I could guess, but never the whole point. How come someone could come up with such brilliant ideas? Adore him/her/them. And Haibara Ai shows more ‘expression’ throughout the movies. Most of them are triggered by Conan a.k.a. Shinichi. She could show fear when something happens to Conan. How cute! If I were Conan/Shinichi, I would’ve not known whom to choose – Ran or Ai? Can I have both? Lol, I mean, can he have both? Hihihi.

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: The Lost Ship in the Sky (2010)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan: The Lost Ship in the Sky

Detective Conan: The Lost Ship in the Sky is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the fourteenth movie which tells about a terrorist group who hijacks an airship which displays a jewel to capture Kaito Kid. They invade the ship by releasing deadly bacteria which they have stolen from a laboratory, and plant bombs on the ship. Apparently, their true intention is so different from what people expected. Conan, along with his nemesis, Kaito Kid, and also with the help of Heiji, figure out the real master mind behind the chaos and manage to stop their intention.
This one is quite complicated. I couldn’t guess at all how it would end, since the conflicts seemed so complex, but as usual, there’s a twist which becomes the turn-table. There’s no case Conan can’t solve. Another team-up with Kaito Kid and Heiji, definitely made me so excited! A little spoiler here, jealous Conan a.k.a. Shinichi is so adorable! Hihihi. And like previous movies which involve Heiji, I seriously love bromance between him and Shinichi! Boy, such a great duet.

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: The Raven Chaser (2009)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan the Movie: The Raven Chaser

Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the thirteenth movie which tells about seven murder cases which relate to one another. They happen in different areas, so the police of prefectures across Japan unite to find the murderer. Conan is also involved, and asks for Heiji’s help as well. In the end, the police almost solve the case, but it’s just Conan who can figure everything out.
Well, Conan a.k.a. Shinichi is too awesome to be true. He’s magnificently brilliant, but it’s not strange if he can be brighter than the police, since sometimes, young’s perspective is more… sharp? Boy, I want to have a childhood friend like Shinichi, or even Heiji, and I want to be as cool as Ran in karate. It must be nice to be able to defend yourself, even save others. Ran is a type of girl who isn’t weak or dependent to her ‘prince’. It’s what makes her even cooler. I wonder how she feels about Conan, I mean, I know she knows he’s just a kid, but I find her noticing some things that remind her of Shinchi. It must feel weird, if she’s ever thought she fell for an elementary kid. Lol. But Ran and Shinichi are seriously in love, because all they can think of is each other, and how they can remember past experiences with each other even if it happened a long time ago. It’s between they have great memory, or they just can’t stop thinking about each other. How sweet! The police are also cool, though. I love them all! This one involves Conan’s true enemy, but some of the members are so sweet. They’re like… nemesis.

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: The Private Eyes' Requiem (2006)

Detective Conan: The Private Eyes' Requiem is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the eleventh movie which tells about Ran’s father, along with Conan and friends, are invited to visit a client in a hotel beside a theme park. Ran and the kids leave after being given free theme park wristbands, while Conan and Ran’s father are forced by the client to solve a case. If they can’t solve it, the wristbands, which are wore by them and the rest will explode. They then face a robbery and a murder case which are connected to each other. Heiji is also invited to solve the case, and in the end, they all work together to save everyone.
This one is also engaging and mind-blowing. Chasing time is always a great suspense. I could finally guess some things in this movie, but as usual, it always has a twist which can blow my mind up. Even when I thought it was already over with a happy ending, it still had one more act, which really made my heart beat seven times faster. There is also Kaito Kid here, so it’s like a full package of my favorite characters. In the seventh movie (my favorite), there might not be Kaito Kid, so the package is not complete, but there’s something it has, that this one doesn’t, so the seventh one is still my favorite up to this point. But this one… really deserves seven thumbs up from me!

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure (2007)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure

Detective Conan: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the eleventh movie which tells about treasure hunters who cause a lot of trouble in order to find a hidden treasure. They rob and kidnap, but in the end, Conan can stop them and save the day. There is also another culprit who attacks the treasure hunters, who is also captured by Conan.
In this movie, I started to like the police as well. All the characters are so awesome and lovable! How can someone be this brilliant? I envy him/her for sure! It brings out some history, too, I guess. I don’t know. I really hate the culprits here (the treasure hunters). Even thought they don’t murder anyone, they’re still really cruel. It’s one of the movies where the culprits are already known from the beginning. But as always, there’s a twist – the other culprit (attacker). Salute! And believe me, I really like Conan until I feel like a pedophile who likes elementary school boy. Lol. And I’m starting to like Ran’s bestie, Sonoko, too. She’s not just a spoiled brat. She’s awesome!

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Crossroad in the Ancient Capital (2003)

Detective Conan: Crossroad in the Ancient Capital is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the seventh movie which tells several murders which lead to robbery. Conan and friends go investigate it in Kyoto, where Hattori Heiji, Shinichi’s friend who is also a genius high school detective, visits from Osaka to investigate about the murders. Heiji then also becomes a target, since he is involved somehow due to a past experience. After several attacks, Heiji’s  childhood friend, Kazuha, is then kidnapped by the culprit. Conan and Heiji comes to save her, and also solve the cases - murders and the robbery.
If I have ever mentioned my favorite Conan movie in previous review(s), I take it back. This one is definitely my favorite! Not just it’s my favorite number (seven), this one IS the coolest! Like I said before, I’m starting to like other characters, like some from the police department, and now, Heiji and Kazuha. All my favorite characters are here, how can it not be my favorite? The case is quite interesting as well, and there are twists everywhere – mind-blowing, unexpected, HUGE twists. Shinichi-Ran, Conan-Ai, Heiji-Kazuha should not be in one movie, unless they want me to die of heart-attack. You don’t want to know how my reactions were during the movie. I literally almost fainted of excitement. Lol.

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Strategy Above the Depths (2005)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths

Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the ninth movie which sets sail on a luxurious cruise, where Conan and friends are invited. On the second day of the cruise, the CEO is found murdered in her room. Later, her father, the President of the group who built the ship is also found thrown off into the ocean. Earlier, the husband of the CEO, who is thought to have a heart-attack and drive his car down a cliff, is apparently murdered, seemingly by the same person. When Conan and the rest figure out who the culprit is, bombs are exploding and drowning the ship. When Conan thinks he has captured the real culprit, Ran’s father reveals another culprit – the one who was behind everything.
This one is different, since it’s not only Conan who saves the day. Ran’s father, who is usually lost in all cases, miraculously figures out everything. He is pretty cool! And another unique thing, we know – or we think we know, who the culprit is from the beginning, but there’s also twist in the end, as always. Shinichi a.k.a. Conan, Ran, and Ai are getting cooler and cooler! And I’m starting to like other characters, too. They are all lovable! It’s a sinking ship, and kind of romantic, but so different from Titanic. Much cooler, to be honest!

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Magician of the Silver Sky (2004)

Anime Title      : Detective Conan the Movie: Magician of the Silver Sky

Detective Conan: Magician of the Silver Sky is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the eighth movie which tells about another act of Kaito Kid targeting an actress’ jewel, who is then murdered on a flight. After solving the murder case, Conan and friends face another bigger problem – the plane is about to crash, but then they get help from unexpected people. After several conflicts, they made it to land safely.
Oh my, the movies are getting cooler and cooler! I was forced to skip the seventh, because I couldn’t find the English-subbed version nor the subtitle file. I was starting to have lucky guess on some things in the movie, but still, it can always surprise me in each and different way. I love this one because I could see Kaito Kid, and also, Shinichi more!
The movie always start with a same narrative, telling about how Shinichi can end up ‘shrinking’ into Conan, but I never skipped it – besides the fact that I want to see Shinichi, it is always different each movie. They will add some more information gradually, and I like what they’re doing. It prevents getting audience bored. The first movie already started with Shinichi being Conan. About how he ends up like that, it’s always told in the narrative introduction, not in a storyline. I love how they do it like that. I wonder they make a special episode when we can see chronologically how Shinichi ends up being Conan. Perhaps they do it in one of the episodes, which I will watch them all after these.

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: The Phantom of Baker Street (2002)

Detective Conan: The Phantom of Baker Street is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the sixth movie which tells about a demonstration of a virtual reality game which ends up trapping the gamers inside the game. Conan and friends try to figure out how to end the game, while in reality, the police and Shinichi’s father try to solve a murder of a top employee from the cooperation.
Sugoi! That’s Japanese language for ‘awesome’ or something like that. This one is the best of all, I guess. It involves artificial intelligence, London in old time, Sherlock Holmes, and Jack the Ripper. So cool! Feels like Hunger Games, even though I haven’t watched it, but Conan is so much cooler, I bet! Why are they so genius? I wonder when I can predict at least a part of the ending. The only thing I can guess is, no case Conan can’t solve. He’s a real genius. He’s a high school student (Shinichi), so he’s at my age, or I can be either younger or older, but still, I can never be more brilliant. Ran and Ai are also getting cooler and cooler! Ad this is the first time I knew more about Shinichi’s parents. At first, I thought he’s an orphan (before I watched the movies).

Detective Conan: Countdown to Heaven is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the fifth movie which tells about a serial murder case which happens to people who are involved in the building of a famous skyscraper. Before the murderer’s identity is revealed, bombs are planted, setting the building ablaze. After evacuating people in the building, also saving his friends, Conan chases the murder and exposes all the mysteries. He manages to save his friends and also closes the case.
None of the movies is predictable. I can never guess. Even though I have watched five movies now, I’m still unable to predict the makers’ mind. They’re so brilliant! It’s not so mind-blowing, but they are still geniuses. And they made me fall in love with fictional 2D characters. This is normal, right? More romantic scenes, but they’re not over-rated, so it’s exactly like what I want. I’m starting to match-make them. Shinichi with Ran, but Conan with Ai <3

[Anime Review] Detective Conan the Movie: Captured in Her Eyes (2000)

Detective Conan: Captured in Her Eyes is a Japanese animated feature film based on the Detective Conan manga series about Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who is accidentally transformed back into a kid and named himself Conan Edogawa. This is the forth movie which tells about several murders and attacks to police officers. The last attack is to Sato, which also involves Ran. They both are saved, but Ran loses her memory. Later on, they find out that the murderer is also targeting Ran because she has seen the face of the murderer. After several attacks, Conan finally figures out who the murderer is and once again saves the day.
Boy, it’s getting better and better. It stays with its characters – genius idea, engaging conflicts, mind-blowing ending. I’m in love with Shinichi and Conan! And there are more romantic scenes now, which boost my excitement even more! Now I start to wonder, how come someone can come up with such an amazing idea for this anime? I adore him/her! I can’t wait to watch all the movies, and I might watch the series as well. I don’t know about reading the manga, because there are too many of them, and I guess I enjoy watching it more. "Captured in Her Eyes"... does 'her' refer to Ran? <3
